in general don't wear clunky boots if the weather doesn't force it. what's even forcing you out in the open? When it does don't care about looks, but go for functionality, i.e. duck boots.

Why the fuck would anyone wear bean/sorrels indoors, assuming op's outdoor activity is restricted to commuting from home to work/school.
