Does this look bother the hell out of anyone else? I just don't get it. It's like you gave up halfway through getting dressed.

What does /fa/ think about wearing jeans with a suit coat?

Literally the worst thing in fashion. It's like wearing a classy fedora with cargo shorts and a t-shirt. I've seen a few people irl trying to do this style and it looks dumb

That's because those people are the sort to look for any easy way of buying class or charisma, but they don't address the core issue of having no fashion sense.

They think they're a gentleman because their hat supposedly negates stench and general aura of overly obsessed anime fan.

Jeans and a sports jacket can work. It can work very well. It doesn't work with a tie, it doesn't work with very casual footwear, and it doesn't work with ripped, faded, or worn jeans.

This is the reason I generally dislike jeans. People wear them without any consideration. Jeans can look good in a fit, if they work with the overall theme of the fit (workwear,, dadcore, palewave), but for most people it's just something they put on without thinking while scanning their bedroom floor for a hoody.
