>>10551594Every so often someone posts "I could be a model" or "people tell me I should model".
The thing about it is, modelling is not just about being attractive but having a very specific facial aesthetic. If you look across all male models their faces are virtually interchangeable, even blacks and asians will have these features:
>square jaw>strong jawline>straight nose>hooded eyes>prominent cheekbones>perfect facial symmetry>straight thick eyebrows>full lipsLiterally to get regular work you have to have all of these features. You can be good looking but fall outside the narrow "model" paradigm. For instance, Johnny Depp or Brad Pitt could not be models despite being considered the most attractive men on the planet, as they have features like small mouths, round chins, wide cheekbones etc.
Occasionally lines trying to brand a certain image will have "character models" that are unusual looking, this is not a common practice. Acne jeans does this to promote feminism/diversity and the old Vice magazine used to do fashion photoshoots on unlikely candidates like the homeless, schoolteachers, or country bumpkins, this is mostly just a hipster thing
