Huge-ass essay ahead.

I started lifting approximately 13 months ago, stopped after a month, then continued. At that time, I was a lean 50 kg at 162 cm(110 lbs at 5'4). I was the weakest male anywhere I have been to, and was tired of it. My goal was and still is strength. I started doing this routine a PT in the gym gave me, which was mainly composed of machine isolations, thus I do not know my beginner stats. But obviously I was very weak.

I did a 6-week-a-day split when I started lifting again. I know it was stupid, but I was a beginner. I also didn't have access to a squat rack nor enough weight to properly deadlift, and I think I didn't work my delts until like the third month of my lifting.

7 months ago I moved on to Texas Method. I did make some gains, initially, but started stalling a lot after a while. This early-to-mid summer I gained some weight and made decent gains as well, though I got fatter. But I started stalling again towards its end. I still haven't recovered fully, especially since I decided to go on a mini-cut.

Pic related is me. Here are my current stats:

60 kg, 164 cm.

65 kg OHP.
85 kg bench.
105 kg low-bar parallel squat(has been a while since I tested it and it might have gotten lower).
147,5 kg sumo deadlift.
12 chin-ups.
82,5 kg pendlay row.

None of my stats have increased since 2 months. The OHP—my best and favorite lift—went down, and I actually had to work my way back up. 2 months of nothing. I switched to 5/3/1 thinking it might be better for me, but it was actually counter-productive.

I don't get it. I eat at a more or less 500 kcal surplus, hit my macros, and sleep enough. Why am I not getting stronger? Is something wrong with Texas Method? Maybe it is just not for me? I am also getting fatter than I used to before whenever I gain weight, by the way.

I am tired of being DYEL. Someone please call my name and save me from the dark.
