Lads, my hips are feeling rekt. I can't push with my legs in a wide position, they tend to close which makes me shift the weight to the front.
Wut do? I've started doing some psoas, piriformis and hamstring stretches, nothing too extreme, I just try to get a comfortable stretch. What do you guys recommend?

Another question, how much strength, if any, do you typically lose cutting down to 105? For example, do you think you're gonna match your skill test results at your meet?

Let it recover, try doing a variation that doesn't trigger the hips so much. Sumo or Squat?

If Sumo, try conventional or Block pulls, the floor is the most harsh on hip flexers.

If Squats try some narrow stance/highbar/bulgarian split squats etc.

A voting system which is good for posts, shitty for comments. Basically you can just share links, videos, self posts and the most liked is seen by everyone.

There's also moderation, which personally I'm not a fan of, so if I do get it I'm not gonna be strict at all.
Best of all though, you can make it private and only allow approved users.

Dont quite expect a big loss. But I wouldnt cry over a 760ish total. Hoping for more obviously.

I usually dont lose much or anything. Nationals was a shitshow for other reasons, infected thumb(and the following illness), arriving 20min before warmup at the venue, 9.5hour drive severely sleep deprived etc etc etc

Do you have acces to a sauna before weigh in?

Not eating solid meals can help you(the food you store in your stomach has weight, by eating less you're limiting the amount of food that's in your system by weigh in). Also if you're desperate, you can eat sour candy and stuff like that before weigh in to produce extra saliva and spit away a pound.

I'd experiment and see what movement I could do that closest resembles the movement I want without aggravating the issue. For ex, if my hip flexors were FUCKED i'd do some Conventional DL/Block Sumo Pulls and knees forward squats. Maybe even leg press.

Keep moving it though, stretch and get blood flushing the area, don't let it settle and stiffen, never good. Also remember, tightness in one area might not be directly a result of a problem with that area, it could be a mechanism to prevent use/protect a connected area.

Layne seems like a nice guy. Doubt he actively cheats. Possibly non-natty from before though, no idea.
