Band is going on tour next week and I need some suggestions for cheap, easily preparable foods that don't need to be refrigerated and that won't make me lose all my gains. I'm thinking sardines sandwiches but I'll probably get sick of that in like 2 days.

I have a question fit,

I'm 5'11 and about 230 lbs. Today I've walked for about 7 kilometers - that is, from cold turkey, I haven't done any sports since years.

What, if any, kinds of health benefits did I acquire from this feat? What if I were to continue exercising, but instead of walking I'd do gymnastic stuff instead?
