So guys, ive been swimming competevely for 7 years, and have recently had trouble reading my heart rate, which is definetly resting under 60 per min. Wat do?
Hey /fit/, please criticize my logic... I have been trying to lose weight in the last 3 months and I am glad to say that I managed to lose 15KGs approximately(Water and constant weight reading changes). I read thru various sources online that lifting burns a shitload of calories so I straight away stopped rocking the treadmill and followed the Icecream 5x5 Program. My University Coach told me that what I was doing was wrong and I should just stick to cardio. I told him about what I read online and he agreed about it but told me that you will develop Muscles and you won't notice any changes in your weight readings which might cause Demotivation. Now...
Here is the Logic part, for example. I Squat 35Kgs 5x3 ( The guide said that I should decrease the sets if I am cutting). If I increase my reps from 5 to 8-9 and stay at it for like 2 weeks without increasing the Weights...will I burn more calories and develop less muscles because my body got used to it and will likely just burn the calories instead of developing more muscles ?
I-I'm gonna do it bruhs >back squat has been stalling for some time now >bench and front squat are catching up >hit bench for 215x3, front squat for 225x3 >front squat at a measly 275x3 (and not for working sets) It's time for drastic measures. Headed to the gym today to do 10x10 at (at least) 225lbs. Is this a good idea? pic unrelated
So whenever I deadlift I can only feel my left side of the back working. My erectors are uneven and left side is noticeable bigger... I'm pretty sure this is the reason my squat is fucked up. I rarely do them anymore because it seems all the weight on my right side travels to the knee which makes it fairly uncomfortable and gives me slight knee pain later in the day / next day (due to my uneven erectors?)
I'm thinking this has something to do with me when I was younger, sitting at the computer 8+ hours everyday with fucked up posture. I used to rotate my torso a lot, and sometimes just ended up lying in front of the computer on a coach, with upper body rotating towards the screen.
I'm thinking this has something to do with the pelvis? If anyone here got any tips and tricks up their sleeve I would love to here them. Ty!
I'm sick of reading these feel bad stories about being beta and autistic. Let's have a thread where you were alpha, or even if you were autistic and it still worked.
