Not really, and Im not even sure theyre that get for hypertrophy either (but I dont know, I'd go wist wrist roller/wrist curls anyway).
If you want grip strength for lifting, do something more specific. Just hold onto a bar loaded heavy, do rack pulls with a very small with a pause at the top for a few seconds, do heavy holds with DBs, farmers walks, etc. Much more specific than a gripper and more effective tbh
