Honestly OP, there is no set time. However, the ATP in your muscles is restored after 3-5 minutes. I personally rest 2-3 minutes, sometimes 4, between sets, even my warmup. Is 2-3 minutes ideal or even optimal? Depends on your goals. If you want to lose weight, a higher intensity workout will burn more calories. The opposite is true for less intense workouts. Also, don't do OHP.
