>>34669660All you need to know for powerlifting is gradually increase volume, maybe deload on the occasion. Also, low rep range with high volume is optimal. A lot of people will say "low rep range for strength, high for size", which is not really true, it just seems that way because it's easier to get more volume in higher rep ranges, but no matter the rep range, if volume is the same, you will gain the same amount of muscle no matter what. For example, if your doing 3-5 rep range and do 30 reps, and a bodybuilder dude does 10 reps for 3 sets, you'll both gain the exact same amount of mass. Only thing is, it takes much longer to achieve the same volume in shorter rep ranges, but the trade off is you gain more strength that way. That's about it.
