Made a thread this morning about lifting when broken hearted, but I had work and couldn't read the thread. My fiance left me a couple of days ago and I'm devastated. I'd been going to the gym heavily for the past month but my motivation has, understandably, gone out the fucking window.

I tried to go in this morning, but I think I was too aware of what the lifting was supposed to do, because even doing a drop weight set, I could barely finish.

What advice do you guys have? Is it just a matter of getting into the gym and start lifting. I can't stop crying and I can barely eat anything so my diet has fucked itself as well.

Feel free to post your own experiences, I'm pretty miserable and I'm lonely as well. Did lifting help you get over a girl?
