Thank you, /fit/ for giving me the motivation to be a better person. Because of your wealth of knowledge, humor and serious advice, I have started fixing myself.

I am a 32 year old vet who basically left the Navy and went on a 10 year bulking phase. I look at myself in the mirror and see a horrid piece of shit wrapped in adipose tissue. My health sucks and I have a general lack of desire to do anything.

I kept putting off fixing myself. It finally dawned on me as I watched my daughter run circles around me. I am not supposed to die this way.

Now I feel like I won't, thanks to the motivation I have received from /fit/.
