Lifting for fitness

No.34669558 ViewReplyReportDelete
Ok. So I sprained my ankle and can't run for a good while. I've been advised to swim/row/lift weight to maintain cardio vascular health but seeing as running was my thing I'm pretty slight.

Is there a way I can bulk ( I know how to bulk properly bw in lbs times 20-24 ) and lift for fitness/cardio?

I was thinking of doing your standard compounds to start and trying to progress all the time obviously. And then 20 minutes of high heart rate activity.

So like light weight curls, shoulder press, a 1 minute plank, and circuiting them? I also have a speed ball/punch bag/maize bag so i can do like 2 minutes on, 30 off and just keep heart rate up.

Does this sound ok?
