You need to incorporate carbs if you want to get gains you can't get shit on a standard ketogenic diet. Look up targeted ketogenic diet or cyclical Keri diet if you're interested.
Don't listen to these plebs, they're just regurgitating memes. It's perfectly healthy and if you eat your veggies it actually lowers your cholesterol (lots of soluble fiber). You're mentally hazy until you adapt after 3-5 weeks but after that period you normalize. After 6 months I felt much, much sharper and happier (ketosis tends to increase endorphin levels) than I did eating a ton of carbs.
Only reason I stopped is because all beef and dairy production is fucking horrible for the environment (BS in environmental science) and I felt like a hypocrite.
