I have always wondered this too. Usually I just run on the spot in my room but if I really want to go out I do it I walk to smaller neighborhood streets (live in the middle of a big ass city) and do it there.

I run on the track at a local park and I get people giving me angry looks and yelling at me to slow down because they want to walk. Fuck them. It's a track. It's the only place the city says I can cut loose and go as fast as my legs will carry me. It's not a place to walk your dog or push your baby stroller.
