Question for you guys. In a few months im going to jump on an intermediate program and I am juggling between madcow and lyle mcdonalds. It turns out that Aegisub adds a subtitle track to the video file, so I don't have to hardsub it in there, which means one less round of encoding, which means higher quality at lower file sizes. Been daily squatting/pressing for a while. That worked nicely, but I've decided to overreach and peak a bit for a December meet.
There is a 565 lb state squat record in the untested division that I want to nab (from the tested division, of course). Something I love about my lolfed: tested AND untested divisions... but tested can overwrite untested records :)
Started Smolov base mesocycle for squat today. Will be doing Smolov Jr. OR Smolov base meso for bench on alternating days.

Need to do a squat 2RM tomorrow. How would you work up to this? It'll be at the end of the workout so I'll already be a little fatigued. I usually add 20kg increments up until 60% doing a paused rep then a regular rep, then 10kg increments up until working weight doing single reps each time. I expect to hit 97% of previous 1RM for a double. The reason I'm asking mainly is because I want to account for fatigue; I've never really had to worry about setting new RMs after 4 different exercises before

A lot of people use bands and partials over chains. West Side barbell are the ones that really pushed chains a while back and put a lot of supernatties off them, but I think they have their place.
