Fuckarounditis is the most likely reason. Make sure you're focusing on progressive overload. Also could be an old injury. Did you break a bone or something when you were young? My doc took a look at me and realized my shoulder was still fucked up from an accident I had when I was 16, and it was fucking with my gains.

If these two sentiments were true you'd have gained at least 40 lbs and trippled your lifts over the course of 4 years.
If that's not the case then obviously you haven't been consistently doing the two only things you must be doing consistently. There you go.

I'm in the same boat. For me it's the lack of consistency. After my break up, I started bulking seriously and an aggressive increase in reps/weight. In the last month I've been seeing increases all over the board. Eating is the hardest part for me, depression and an eating disorder when I was in highschool. I thought I missed my 18-23 years, mid-20s are much better.

I've done SS for 4 weeks now following the rules strictly as shit and I don't even look like I lift.

some people just aren't meant to make it I guess, I'll stick to sports/cardio.

If I were you, Id bump my calories up to 4k+ and increase my carbohydrate intake.

Thats what ive been doing and ive been making gains lately
