We had three deadlift stations. Then they ripped out two of them to make room for a Zumba room. Today they took out the last station because people were fighting over it.

Time to find a new gym.

Heavy deads require good platforms/some type of padding. Ever played baseball and cracked the ball hard and it reverberates through your elbows? Good platforms and plates will stop that when you deadlift.
