starboard strike for an 8 reporting in
I did for a couple years. it's a fucking cult, the social life is basically limited to other cultist athletes because of the absurd schedule and exhaustion. we would go out to eat like others would to drink, and then when we did drink it ended by 9pm because we have a race tomorrow brah
fucking killer sport though. hit everything except your chest, plus endurance training, HIIT, finesse and rhythm, teamwork all at once. I came in real soft and even though I only barely hit sub-6:50 2k at the end, I left looking way better and with the discipline to continue training. I also rowed on the Potomac river, so it was fucking beautiful some days.
I strongly recommend joining a crew team for anybody who wants to force themselves to either make gains or literally drown. it works
