>>34697286>notices>>34706828Started with "Big Man On Campus" program from BodybuildingDotCom. I felt like I was able to put on a significant amount of size in a short period of time. I did that program back to back from May until about August when I began the Kris Gethin 12 week to shred program - I've had some great results in the past in using his program so I figured my body would respond well in trying it again.
On top of these lifting programs I began with 20min Stairmaster every morning, now I go anywhere between 35min-45min at a pace that I never could have managed before. I'm finding that I'm hitting a weight loss wall and I think my metabolism is dropping off with all the cardio I do. Going to scale it back and see what happens.
I also picked up salsa/argentine tango/bachata/kizomba as a hobby in the evenings, which not only inspires me to keep hitting the gym (constantly around beautiful women). But these hobbies also function as excellent means of staying active - physically and mentally. It also helps that I have a good relationship with my dance instructor who is not only gorgeous but helps me to silence out all the bullshit noise in my life.
>>34707621Been back in the gym since December of last year, but on my cut since May. Went from 255 to where I am now at 203 putting me at about 10 pounds a month. I'm 5'10" or 5'11" can't recall.
My diet isn't atrocious. I'm not counting calories but I watch my portions and I almost never eat shit like ice cream or cake or candy. I'm a sucker for soda and will have one every few days. I love authentic tacos to fucking death - so every time I eat tacos I have a Coca Cola. My kryptonite. I eat all of this shit when I know I will be paying for it with time on the Stairmaster. It's not a good practice, I know, but it's got me this far and hopefully further.
Thanks /fit/ for the kind words. Means a lot.
