>>34699602>what do you think of touch n go deaddys?Probably a bit more injury prone than deadstop.
They're also a little less specific to the 1RM deadstop.
But as far as using them to progress on deadlifts, I see nothing wrong with them.
They can be better or worse than deadstop, depending on the person.
E.g. george leeman swears by them.
>>34699633>and they may be more closely related, but there is also a meme going around that strength IS size which also isnt true tbh, gotta strike the middle ground, which i dont think you are. You might be misinterpreting me.
I didn't say a smaller muscle is necessarily weaker than a bigger muscle.
(so a smaller person could be stronger than a bigger person)
I just said that if someone increases their muscle size, their strength will almost certainly increase too.
>you can only get so far on purely neurological adaptations (but at the same time.. you can get pretty damm far, look at oly lifters)kek mate, oly lifters are generally swole as fuck and have huge quads
>>34699633no, they dont concern themselves with eccentrics, because eccentric deadlifts won't make them stronger (whether through cns adaptions or muscle size).
>specificity is key in trainingif doing them would increase size and strength or just strength, they would do them.
powerlifters do a ton of stuff besides the big 3...
