...so how do we calculate calories burned by individual lifts? Like for instance if a beginner (whose max is 220) is doing 5x5 at 180 lbs weight on squat, it's going to feel much more difficult for him than an expert (whose max is 500+) doing 5x5 at 315 lbs weight, but obviously the expert is doing more work despite the fact that the beginner will end up with a higher heart rate.
How do we determine calories burned?
