Switching pre

I've been using caffeine as a pre-workout and I'm now at the point that I can drink 5 shots of espresso and feel almost nothing in terms of abundant energy, so I figured it was about time that I switched to different kind of substance so I don't become too dependent (I'm kinda tired all the time now as well, probably as a result of the caffeine). I only used it every other day.
When switching pre-workouts, should I just do it cold-turkey or will the withdrawal from the original one impact my workout?
Asking again because the last time I asked was last night when this place was dead as hell
