How do you prepare your chicken breasts, fit?
I usually eat the typical chicken rice and broccoli+carrots but used to prepare them all wrong: boiled rice and broccoli+carrots, plain chicken in a frying pan. Taste was meh and I dealt with it. But since then, I bought a rice cooker for $20 and it changed my life, I feel so stupid not to have bought one sooner; rice is delicious and never mushy, and it can steam the veggies making them taste better, all while automating everything instead of slaving over the stove. Also replaced white rice with brown rice. I now brine a couple of chicken breasts in a tupperware filled with water, one spoon of salt, one spoon of sugar, for 4-6 hours, then prepare random marinades, using thyme, paprika, white wine, shallots. Also use nuts and olive and lemon juice to fuck around with textures and flavors. Any other tips to improve the basic fit meals staples?
