/fit/ i need help

I have been dicking around for the gym (going in, doing whatever I want, not maintaining a strict diet, partying with drugs and alcohol) for about a year collectively now.

my stats are, bench 190, deadlift 285, and squat... 185

every time I squat, no matter the weight, my knees get fuckin aasraped. i end up having to leave the gym and have my gf give me a massage.

what are some knee friendly exercises I can perform to increase lower body strength? what can I do to fix this

or am I fucked and doomed to be one of the guys from the don't skip leg day internet memes
