What does /fit/ think about heavy sets followed by light sets but more volume?

For example:
OHP 3x6-10 (heavy)
Lateral raises 4x12

Bizep ez-curl 3x6-10 (heavy)
Hammercurls 4x12

Basically when Training a specific musclegroup with two exercises, going heavy on the first one and light but with higher volume on the second.
Doing this in my PPL routine and the bicep one was absolute Killer
