I've been doing some research on Minoxidil use for facial hair and from what I can gather it works really well for most people and you get to keep the terminal hairs after you stop the therapy.

Definitely not posting pics m8. Ofc there is thinner hairs, but i'm only 18 and i know they're going to get thicker. I have hair on my hand, feet, back, (and really big in my nose), so i'm pretty fucked, i'm on the extrem side of the hair's spectre (dont know it can be said in english). That's why it's make me laugh to see people using minoxidil, but i still respect that.

I'm currently running it on half the recommended dose because it's usually for the hair, not facial area and I hope it lessens the side effects (headaches, becoming a wolf man).

Results after 2 months were breddy good so far - grew some new hair at the desired spots, but also some where you don't want them (upper cheek area).

it worked for me but my dad has a really thick beard and i already had think hairs throughout my beard. it works to thicken the hairs but i wouldnt recommend it to someone with no facial hair at all who is expecting to grow a god tier beard out of nowhere

Just don't overdo it fam, if enough gets absorbed systemically it can have some pretty naughty side effects. We don't really ever use this systemically in the medical field because of the sides. It's typically last in line for therapy for hypertension. Lots of edema/orthostatic hypotension + old ppl fall and bust their shit

As someone with a really nice dark and thick beard I have to say that both of these after pictures look like shit. Honestly, and not too be mean, if this is the 'goal' then don't do it. There are other ways to look good besides a full beard. Growing out a wispy beard just makes you look like a try hard faggit.

Also, don't lose hope, my beard didn't really get full until later into my 20s. If it's thin at 22 or so, there is still hope.

Check your dad's beard in old photos for a good idea of where it'll go. Fwiw mine looks just about exactly like my dad's when he was my age. If there are no old photos of your dad with a beard then there's a reason for that - he probably has a shit beard and you will too.

It started because body builders cut to <10% body fat, but their faces still look like man children, they try and grow a beard in off season to not look so pathetic, it doesn't work.

It takes patience. Just let the hair grow, and don't shave the neckbeard either, that adds thickness to a beard once you start to achieve length. You can trim a neck line but it should only be where the hair starts to grow forward and not down, lots of people shave to their jawline.

Get on Amazon and pick up some Beard Growth XXL. It has vitamins or some shit which works pretty good. After a few weeks I saw some beardly gains.

The downside is it can make your eyebrows thick as fuck.

Does balding come from the Father or mother's side? Most of my uncles and grandfather started balding in their late 30s except my dad. He's 56 still has his hair just a few small bald spots here and there, barely noticeable.

First off, it only stimulates the growth of hair that already has a root. If you're genetically fucked to the point where you DON'T have enough hair to grow a proper beard, all you're doing is giving yourself an unholy rash and a shit ton of acne-tier pimples.

Just look at a picture of your old man when he was younger and tell him to grow a beard for a few days just so you can see into the future. It's almost always a match. My beard is thin around the connection of the lower lip with the chin and my mustache isn't as big as I want it to be, but looking at my old man's full beard gives me hope.
