/fit/izens, recently i've ended my first real cut. I've lost 22lbs in ~4 months. Before the cut i was benching 155 5x5 @ 161 lbs bodyweight without any problems. During the cut i lost 1 or 2 reps on the last set but just at the end of the cut i lost my strength and could barely bench that weight for 3 reps. Im slowly increasing my calories but my strength is not going up. When i should get my strength back? When i hit my TDEE in daily calories? Right now im still on a slight deficit.
