I support the principles and causes of the creative commons, and I also think that the judiciary is wrong to protect so called 'rackets' run by publishing houses, and that copyright laws are an anachronism etc. and the whole system is a skewed POS, but yeah its very tragic he took his own life and couldnt do the 3 months or stay in the fight, damn shame really.
