Snow Leopard was a clusterfuck at launch, too. Apple always needs at least 4 major updates to unfuck their shit, and sometimes they never do.

It's pretty inevitable, given how small Apple's OS dev teams are.

But some of the dumbing down is ridiculous. You can't even choose different times for display sleep and computer sleep anymore.

People hate Windows m8. It's a fact. It's shit and nobody takes it seriously. Even fucking IBM is switching to Macs. You have to be pretty deluded to think Windows is better than OS X in any way. OS X is far from perfect of course but it's just much better.

In all seriousness, the only advantages that Windows has over Linux is the compatibility with the most common printers and the ability to run games easily (tfw WINE doesn't work).

Reasons why i prefered OSX over Windows was mission control and that you had to click on a window to scroll in it in Windows. Both is in Windows 10, plus it has window snapping since W7 which OSX still hasn't. Except for that retarded full screen mode.

Does OSX have a tabbed file manager? I switched to Windows 10 from Linux/KDE recently and the lack of a tabbed file manager is driving me insane. Overall I think Windows is better, but holy shit does it have a shitty file manager. Windows 10 feels like 2015 and 2006 had a completely average baby

Macbook Pro, Vaio Z and Kirabook are top tier laptops. There are some Japanese laptops like the NEC Lavie Z(not the chink version) that are amazing as well, but they must be imported.

Aside from that you have enterprise laptops like the EliteBook that are reliable and well built, but not much else.
