Both monitors run native 1080p but they're not the same size, in display settings all i can do is move the screen but id doesnt let me change the size to fix the mouse from appearing in different place.
Image shows what happens to the selection bar, how do i fix this?
>commit my project after a long day of work >forget the -m >motherfucking vim opens >try typing in my commit message >not really sure why every commit needs a message >first half of the message cut off >try to fix it >nope.jpg >give up on this shitty editor and try to quit >ctrl-c >does nothing >close the command line >"can't quit without closing vim" >ctrl-alt-delete >"can't open task manager while command line is running" >text disappears, replaced with color ASCII animation of hitler >try to shut down >"shutdown interrupted. quit command line and try again" >hitler starts laughing at me. all my icons have been replaced with swastikkas >hold down power button >pull away in pain. thumb covered in a huge blister >Hitler's laughs reverberates like the voice of the legion. >pull the plug >the laughing stops. I breath a sigh of relief >large metal hand wraps around my neck >black out >wake up with my asshole bleeding
Alright /g/oyim my uni recently changed the wifi so that you are required to login with a student identification number and birthday. The wifi runs much faster but its pretty much a school wide botnet. Will a VPN make me anonymous or is there some other way?
I just started a student software engineering job, and my clients don't really understand tech/programming at all. Which is to be expected, right? After a few weeks of development, I'm going to have a meeting with the clients and tell them about the progress and talk about how to move on from here.
I'm wondering if anyone knows of any good tools that help bridge the gap between the developers and the clients? Specifically, I want something less formal than MS Project and more formal than drawing on paper with pen.
Has anybody had a problem with microphone being too quiet and still noisy with Realtek HD drivers? I've tried: reainstalling latest drivers, installing drivers from my motherboard's manufacturer website, disabling all the special effects, changing the volume level. If I increase mic boost, it gets louder but the noise persists; therefore, it's not a solution for me. It started a couple of weeks after I reinstalled Windows 8.1. Will probably reinstall it tomorrow if nothing helps.
Last week someone broke into my house and stole some laptops and PS3s. I'm pretty sure it is someone living in one of the houses near me. Not within range of my wireless router. Is there a way I can look at another houses network and what devices are on it, or anything else I can do to check anywhere? Legal or otherwise? Obviously the burglary was reported to police but they told me basically nothing will be done.
Does anyone on /v/ still play clash of clans? Does anyone have a clean I can join. This is one of the leading smartphone games so I imagine some of you guys play it.
