Did your washing machine smell terrible inside and kind of bad outside when it was new? Did the smell take long to go away?

I recently bought a samsung and it smelled ok both inside and outside
maybe just a little bit like rubber on the inside

If you read the instructions they tell you what to do on the first run since it has to get rid of the water that's still inside the pump from the factory testing

Any washing machine worth it's money has a cleaning cycle setting, buy a cleaning tablet, drop it in and have it run through a clean cycle.

if its a front loader...leave the door open after its done. They dont drain 100% of the water out, and the sealed door doesnt letter it evaporate and causes it to smell
