>>51009803>USB version and audio interfaceDon't go full retard, anon... XLR is worth it, for the pres, and the extra options interfaces can give you, but if you're not creating content, and just using it for VoIP, trust me, the 2020 is fine.
The 2020 is just pretty good for the price, and has a usb version, which is the main reason it's become a meme. I have an AT 4040, and I admit, I was sort of disappointed in the results, compared to my MXL Black Widow (aka, the CR30). It's better, but not $150 better. Switching to a Saffire 18i20 interface helped a lot, at least.
Are you even sure you need a condenser? Because if you can get up on your mic properly, and don't have a sound treated room, just get you a good dynamic. The GLS Audio ES-58 is a clone of the Shure SM-58, and is damn close in terms of sound and build quality, but only costs about $30.
