The one problem there is that only flagships get software updates and security patches. I didn't buy a flagship so my phone is still vulnerable to stagefright with no word of any patch being offered despite the fact it has 4.4.2.

The s6 is a pretty reasonable size I think, same with the iphone 6. I do agree large phones are annoying, but my work phone is a note 5 because I have to look at lots of schematics and diagrams, but it just sits in my truck.

I think there's a wide enough variety and market for phones that just because one or two comes out at a certain size it doesnt necessarily signify a trend

honestly the only benefit I can imagine to a bigger screen is watching videos, drawing pictures and looking at a map (all of which are not the main benefit of a pc over other devices btw)
all else can be accomplished with smaller fonts or scrolling

I would use it as a second phone to get productive on, when it's needed.
