Hey guys, is there a simpler way to fix loose earphone wiring that causes one side to go mute?

Been using a Chink brand one and it has designs to prevent wiring from coming loose EXCEPT at the part leading from the remote diverging into the 2 earbuds.

Tldr is there a simpler fix that doesn't involve stripping wires?

Alternatively where can I get reasonably priced good ones?
