Seeing all these shit hacker threads recently have reminded me that I too, want to be a l33t haxer.

I'm doing CS at uni, had seen a comp sec group had meetings and shit, for the first meeting they had some fun challenge involving encryption etc, joined the club but they were really weird about it and never really met up.

They talked about shit like CTFs (they had one planned for us a month later) and more shit like that. Even gave us a google website we could fuck around with to learn basics of "l33t hacking".

How do I actually get into this security shit? Not an edgy 12 year old. Legitimately start learning this so I can maybe make a career of it in a couple of years
