None are best. The best phone depends on you, how you use your phone and what you want from a phone.

A decent argument can be made for the iPhone, lightning fast storage gives a snappy experience. However you are left with a shorter batter life than many of it's competitors.
Maybe you want a 5X. It's cheap and you get that pure android with no update drama. Got to sacrifice on the screen though compared to other options.
Maybe you spend all day taking pictures of yourself and want the S6's front camera.
Maybe you make three phone calls a year but routinely drop your phone down multiple flights of stairs, so you want your trusty 3310.

There are pros and cons of any phone and what is "best" will vary from person to person.

The edge is a meme, the note5 has functionality because a digitizer is FAR more usable for actual daily use than a god damn curved screen which does literally nothing but distort the image because of the angle it adds.

It has a fucking alarm clock and small reminders, big deal. A digitizer is far and away the more useful than an edge meme screen.

that's a meme, it only breaks if you yank it out, putting the stylus in backwards doesn't do ANYTHING but get it stuck, to get it unstuck you need to slide something down inside the hole and unlatch it, this allows you to remove the spen without damaging the lock.

However, if you just yank it out, all it does is destroy the sensor that lets the phone know if the stylus is inserted or not, that's all the gets fucked up, nothing else. The phone functionally is still 100% a phone and works with literally everything besides detecting if the stylus is in or out.

Though it feels bizarre to hold in your hand. Its thick, and almost feels like its just too much to hold. But you get used to it.

But honestly, memes aside. iPhone 6S. The only thing it lacks is top tier battery life. Its fucking disgusting how much a loyalist will defend their brand to the point of submitting to the idea of charging your phone more than once within 24 hours.

The note4 is still a really good phone, the note5 is slightly better, but lacking mSD card and a removable battery, there are some trade offs.

i mean sure, but lets be fair, its a 10-20 minute process to replace a battery in a note5, vs 60 seconds in the note4, sure its easier and quicker in the note4 and it can be done by literally anyone, but you aren't replacing the battery daily, if anything you will only replace the battery once or twice the entire time you own your phone.

I can deal with 10-20 minutes once or twice the entire length I own my phone, sure it isn't user replaceable easily like the note4, but anyone with a few tools can replace the battery in the Note5.

I personally would get the G4 if it were between just those 2, but I also am currently using a Galaxy Note5 and returned a G4 for this phone. both the S6 and G4 are good phone, the S6 is more powerful but more locked down.

I got a Note5 to play gaems.

Mainly Star wars Knight of the old republic.

The only reason I went with the note5 over something like the LG G4, HTC, or nexus was for the stylus and the over the top specs.

The stylus is a huge help for KOTOR (and other games as well)

I could run it just fine on my previous phone too, I know I dont need that much power just for KOTOR, I wanted the stylus and the extra power for multi-tasking and potential KOTOR 2 release at some point in the future. The stylus really is a pretty big thing for KOTOR, much easier to play.
