End users generally want to use something they're familiar with (Win / Mac) and they don't even want to hear about Lenoocs. I should know, I tried to convert a few people because the laptops / pcs they used had way too few resources for Windows (some 2000s Celeron with 1-2GB DDR2) and all they used them for was browsing. They just didn't want to hear about anything else, despite telling them I can make their machines work better for their daily tasks and make it look almost the same (Ubuntu or Debian with LXDE).
Sometimes I wonder why some people are just not curious about the devices they use on a daily basis - maybe ask themselves "What makes this tic ?" and then I remember why I don't get called to parties.
