Hey /g/. Will a HDMI splitter/switcher like this be able to work with dual monitor? I have an Alienware Alpha that has only one HDMI out port and need it to split so I can attach two monitors.

Just use a DVI cord. HDMI and DVI have essentially the exact same picture quality. The only different is that HDMI supports audio. I would imagine DVI is a lot cheaper than a HDMI splitter.

Worse, only one display will have a picture if any at all.

OP, basically, information was designed to flow in only one direction in that adapter and you got it backwards
