I currently have a gtx 970 and a fx 6300. Im looking to upgrade the 6300 to something intel, any reccomendations of something under $200? Or maybe $250?

I'm running an i5 4460. It's a great cpu for under $200. if you go that route and want to overclock, get the 4460k.

Don't waste your money. Just overclock that 6300.
There are no good CPUs on the market right now. Skylake is overpriced crap and AMD won't have anything new until Zen.
