So I'm looking to replace my old Toshiba Satellite L505-ES5033. Though it's my main machine, all I really do is facebook and shitpost. Never a lot of browser tabs or anything.
That said, the only high-end thing I do is edit 4k footage from my phone, so I'd like a laptop that is reasonably capable of this, without needing it to be super powerful.
The other constraint is that I don't want anything over 3 pounds. Personally, a Surface Pro 4 sounds like a good choice, but I feel like with those starting at core i3, I'd just be paying a ton to get something with marginally better performance.
Can you recommend a good core i7 5th gen, under a grand, that weighs less than 3 pounds?
