Chrome is literally the best browser. It's shared most of the same extensions with firefox for a while now. Chrome just has better support and is faster, safer, and has better aesthetics. If you aren't using chrome you are autistic.

Makes sense to make the code more maintainable but browsing ftp servers is actually useful so rather than just removing it which seems to be all Mozilla can do these days they should have recommended rewriting the protocol support code instead.

FTP is pretty common for distributing linux distros and the BSDs. I would imagine it's probably because the protocol is simpler and ftp sites are easier to set up.

The only good Chrome extension that's not available on or doesn't have an alternative for Firefox is the one that puts quotes between "Donald Trump" when his name appears as plaintext on web pages. Other than that, there was no reason for this add-on.

Well, it's using 51.7MB right now on my setup. There's still a few things to polish, but it's not even beta yet. I hope they will add customizable mouse gestures soon, the biggest thing still missing from Opera 12.
