- write the equation for the volume of any cylinder
- shuffle shit around so that you can substitute values in the volume equation with shit from the already known surface area
(b)
- take the derivative of the volume equation and solve for zero to find the value of r that maximizes volume and then solve the volume equation with it
(c)
- show that trying a radius smaller and larger than the one you found in (b) produces a lesser volume
