I want off the botnet, but my coworkers refuse to move off of Skype for their text chat. The one person I voice chat with has agreed to move to Discord, but I still need to access that text chat.

It doesn't appear that Pidgin has anything for Skype's text chat. Are there any alternatives, or must I learn to love the botnet?
