I bought this mixer and with my line and master knobs set to 0db the clipping indicator constantly lights up. If I turn down the knobs quite a bit the clipping indicator stops lighting up but the audio is too quiet. What the fuck gives? I'm using it with a set of inexpensive speakers and they are literally quieter with this mixer at non-clipping levels than when connected directly to a device.

How does that make any sense at all? How is it that audio clips with the mixer but not without? Or does it just clip without anyway and I simply can't hear it?
