390 = more fps and outperforms a 980 with dx12 also has 8gb of vram

970 = average performance, 3.5gb vram no dx12 support and costs more than a 390

More like a 970 equals performance of 390 with no noise and half the power consumption because it's a technically superior card. Even on 4k the performance remains the same showing how 8GB of RAM is purely for marketing and does fuck all.
