If I update to W10 and follow this guide, why not just stick with W7? I'm not looking to start an argument, I just don't know why.

W10 is not worth it tbh, DX12 is great if you play games, quick startup/shutdown is great if you have a laptop, aside from that it's just the same thing, and in my opinion the W7 user interface is a lot better than W10's bit that's my own opinion
