Anyone know of a way to make a script bot to perform actions over and over again for an MMORPG?

It needs to be a bit more complicated than a mouse recorder.

Everything I found on Google came up to be other stuff that works for WoW and shit. I would like to know where to start to make my own.

It would need to be different than a mouse clicker. I would need to move across the screen and drop items occasionally.
