That works when launched from the exact application but if I have it closed and click on a link from a friend on Steam or some other external client, it shows up. Any way to prevent this?

I've tried that before but I'm just too used to hitting X when I'm done using it. It's a habit I could eventually break but is there no way to make it not show up from external links?
