boost mobilefag here, honestly I'll never switch to anything else ever again. Only pay 30 buckaroos for 2gb a month. Recently based boost mobile gave me another 500mb for free. Gonna get another 500mb in 3 months of being a good goy I think.

I get like 8 Mbps on lte, t-mobile can suck my left nut.

Sometimes companies will jew you with cheap deals but won't mention that after 5-10 gb they will cripple your data transfer speeds to dial up speeds (64 kbps).

If you can download data 100 GB+/month at 2-4 Mbps for 10$/month then I am really jelly m90.

Oh yeah. If there is a soft cap then I don't know what it is. I don't typically use more than 500mb a month since I'm mostly at a computer.

Haven't hit the limit yet, but I think I read a rumor it's slowed capped after 15gb, but I've not had this happen to me. Chicago.

Also on family plan for 40 a month after taxes. Feels good.

I fell for the hype, I recently switched over to boost mobile. It's okay but I sometimes wish lte was faster. Only get like 3Mbps where I live. I only pay 60 bucks a month so I guess it could be worse. Better than paying the tmobile jew 80 bucks a month that's for sure.

I get spark lte where I live so download speeds are ridiculous. I get 30-40 Mbps most of the time.

I was searching for a new provider recently and found "FreedomPop", which re-sells Sprint network. They have a free* $0.00/m plan: 200 mins+500 texts+500MB 4g LTE data. The catch is that it requires a Sprint phone (and BYOD has a $20 activation fee) or you can buy one of the branded phones from their website. Apparently you must use their VOIP app instead of the native dialer. There are some bad reviews most related to the VOIP app/data leak and also unauthorized billing. Sounds like a hassle to me but maybe Im wrong.

The next best MVNO I found is Boost Mobile which also uses Sprint network (and requires Sprint phone) which sells unlimited talk/text + 5 GB(or 2 GB without "auto-refill") 4g LTE data for $30.00/m

Anyone tried either of these?

I switched over to boost a few months ago. I have the $45/month 5gb up to 8 gb plan thing. It's pretty good at least where I live. lte is pretty fast but 3g tops out at 2 Mbps but it's still alright.

I'll probably switch over to $60/month soon, i fucking hate having to use slow internet after my 5gb crumbs.

Only MVNOs here (Canada) are just different names for the big three. Virgin=Bell, Fido=Rogers, Koodoo=Telus. Oh yeah, there's also Wind.

Oh, and they don't have towers in my city, so I'd always be on their AWAY network.

$35 (cheapest "unlimited" plan w/2GB unthrottled) + (2GB * $0.05/MB)= $135+tax

Oh yeah, and you won't get LTE with Wind. It's all HSPA+ aka psuedo 4G.

Compare this to my current plan, which is $75+tax for 2.5GB of LTE data. Plus I get an NHL Gamecentre subscription and free Spotify Premium with my plan.

Still getting gouged especially compared to Europe, but MNVOs just aren't really worth it here.
