>>51030192Only MVNOs here (Canada) are just different names for the big three. Virgin=Bell, Fido=Rogers, Koodoo=Telus. Oh yeah, there's also Wind.
>AWAY coverage is service provided by our roaming partners in Canada and the US where we the WIND network hasn't developed yet. You are charged low flat pay per use rates while in AWAY coverage. Our current rates are $0.15/min, $0.05/text and $0.05/MB.Oh, and they don't have towers in my city, so I'd always be on their AWAY network.
$35 (cheapest "unlimited" plan w/2GB unthrottled) + (2GB * $0.05/MB)= $135+tax
Oh yeah, and you won't get LTE with Wind. It's all HSPA+ aka psuedo 4G.
Compare this to my current plan, which is $75+tax for 2.5GB of LTE data. Plus I get an NHL Gamecentre subscription and free Spotify Premium with my plan.
Still getting gouged especially compared to Europe, but MNVOs just aren't really worth it here.
